From an early age, I learned that life and health were precious.
Upon leaving school, I chose to train in general and then mental health nursing, setting out on my journey as a carer for others.
During my nursing career, my focus shifted towards a more spiritual and holistic approach to helath and wellbeing.
As I progressed down this path, I immersed myself in the gentle beauty of Tai Chi, and the peace of deep meditation, and found my enduring passion – Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I went on to study Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and Crystal healing. I have enjoyed a busy and successful practice in Sheffield, England, over the past 15 years.
I have always felt that life is a journey, and that each stage of life is onother important part of the road we travel, bringing with it unique challenges and opportunities to grow. Chinese medicine works with these cycles within daily life, and within the bigger context of our whole life, and helps us to live in harmony with our inner and outer cycles.
My journey recently led me to embark on my training to become a professional independant celebrant. This wonderful work allows me to further embrace the cycles of life, as I welcome babies at naming ceremonies, celebrate love with couples at their wedding ceremonies, and honour and celebrate the lives of your loved ones that have passed over, at funerals and memorial services.
